Harry & David says thank you with flowers
Asante employees from Ashland to Grants Pass got a fragrant surprise last Friday.
Harry & David and 1-800 Flowers donated more than 900 bouquets of long-stemmed roses in different colors to Asante on Feb. 19. The donation, valued at more than $55,000, was a gesture of appreciation to health care workers.
Bouquets were delivered to 10 Asante locations, including all three hospitals, three APP clinics, guest housing, Asante Contact Center and the vaccination clinic in Medford.
“Harry & David continues to be an incredible partner, bringing joy and smiles to Asante employees,” said Desirae MacGillivray Myers, marketing manager for Asante Foundation, which accepted the generous donation.
Early in the pandemic, the Medford-based food company donated 10,000 boxes of Moose Munch to grateful employees working the front lines.
