Farewell and thank you to a popular family physician

Don Robertson, DO, hangs up his stethoscope after a 45-year career.

After 45 years treating patients in the Rogue Valley, Don Robertson, DO, is retiring. He worked in APP’s White City clinic and dispensed advice on KOBI-TV’s “Docs on Call” segments.

Known for his devilish sense of humor (seen in this APP spoof of “The Office”), he was popular among his patients.

“Dr. Robertson is the finest doctor you’ll ever have,” a patient wrote in one of Dr. Robertson’s many five-star online reviews. “He’s kind and caring, takes the time to listen to whatever ails you. You won’t find a better physician.”

Chief Medical Officer Jamie Grebosky, MD, thanked Dr. Robertson for his contributions to the health of his patients, the community and to Asante.

“He is one of a kind,” Dr. Grebosky wrote in APP’s newsletter, APPChat, “and will be sorely missed.”

Cardiologist Brian Gross, MD, and “Docs on Call” host Robin Miller, MD, pay tribute to Robertson in this news report.
