Employees gave … and then received

Eighteen employees participated in Asante’s Spirit of Service program during the last quarter, and six earned a prize drawing reward.

Even as the COVID-19 surge overwhelmed Asante hospitals, employees still found time to give back to the community last summer. The Asante Community Team Spirit of Service recognition program closed its fourth quarter for fiscal year 2021 with 18 participants volunteering more than 530 hours combined.

The following employees were selected at random to receive 12,500 points from PointRecognition.com:Spirit of Service

  • Meredith Krauss, ATRMC Radiation Oncology
  • Robby Pratt, ITS System Integration
  • Kimberly Little, Provider Patient Financial Services
  • Ali True, ITS Data Analytics
  • Heather Hartman, Risk Management

The winner of the random “new participant” category (12,500 points) was Shavonn Foster, Environmental Services, ARRMC.

Volunteer service qualifies for the program if it’s done for a local school, church, city council, police or fire department, ambulance service or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency within Asante’s service area.
