To support price transparency and affordability, Regence, the company that administers the Asante Health Plan, offers a tool that helps estimate out-of-pocket costs for common items and services.
The estimator tool helps you learn:
- Estimated cost-sharing liability.
- Accumulator amounts.
- Negotiated rates.
- Prerequisites for coverage.
- Disclosure notices.
After logging into Regence.com or the Regence mobile app, go to the Claims and Costs section. Look for the cost estimator tool and click on the type of service (medical/pharmacy) you’re seeking. You can also compare prices for hospital stays, treatments, MRIs, X-rays and more.
This will take you to an external site where you can search for a treatment, procedure or even search by billing codes. Estimated costs are displayed based on negotiated rates and the member’s benefits and deductible status. Click more details to see estimated accumulator amounts, disclaimers and other information.
