To help Asante hire and keep our valuable employees, we need to hear from you. What’s working? Where can we improve? This week, all employees will receive the first of four “micropulse” surveys, which will go out quarterly.
These surveys are in addition to the annual Employee Engagement Survey and will provide leaders with more timely feedback. Each micropulse survey contains 10 questions that will allow Asante to view engagement at the entity level. Employed providers will be asked to take part in this survey along with the rest of the Asante team.
When we completed the Employee Engagement Survey in fall of 2021, we were not surprised to see our scores drop, along with the rest of the health care industry. The stress of the pandemic and the difficulty in recruiting staff during the current labor market have taken their toll. The Asante leadership team is committed to focusing our efforts on the areas that will help us improve our culture overall and reaffirm our commitment to Asante’s Mission, Vision and Values.
The micropulse surveys will be emailed to employees this month and then in January, July and October 2023 along with the full Employee Engagement Survey in April. Our team will analyze the results to determine if our retention strategies are working and to improve the overall engagement of the staff. Also, as with all engagement surveys, responses are anonymous.
It will be important to hear from everyone during these quarterly surveys to gauge our progress. Reminder, the survey will only be open for two weeks so make sure you check your email this week for your survey link.
