Open enrollment for 2023 coming in November
Fall is approaching and so are opportunities to review and change your Asante Employee Benefits Plan for 2023.
Open enrollment takes place Nov. 1–15. Benefits fairs again will be held virtually, no appointment necessary.
All employees are encouraged to re-evaluate their benefits elections annually to make sure their needs are being met. Open enrollment is passive, which means you’re required to participate only if you want to:
- Enroll or re-enroll in a flexible spending account (FSA) for 2023.
- Make changes to your current benefits.
- Add or remove eligible dependents from coverage.
- Cash out earned time off. (A new policy allows you to cash out your accrued ETO up to four times in 2023!)
Some changes are in store this year so make sure to review the open enrollment packet mailed to your home address in October.
All enrollments will be self-service via myHR. When you submit yours, you’ll receive a confirmation statement emailed to your Asante email address. The deadline to submit your elections is 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15.
If you don’t participate in open enrollment your current benefits elections and covered dependents will automatically roll over to 2023. The exceptions are FSA elections and ETO cash-out, which must be reelected each year.

- Nov. 2, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Nov. 10, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Employees and their covered spouses can chat live with members of the Asante benefits team as well as medical, dental, vision and voluntary benefits vendors.
