Fall into Fitness Challenge is back

Your favorite outdoor challenge lets you get fit with a chance to earn prizes.

fall fitness challenge

At last fall has arrived in the Rogue Valley, and so has one of our favorite outdoor challenges. Fall into Fitness, a six-week outdoor activity-based challenge, offers rewards for employees and spouses who walk, bike, hike or run outdoors in the autumn months.

The Health Promotion team will lead two events: A hike at Prescott Park in Jackson County, and another in Josephine County’s Reinhart Volunteer Park. Both take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. Each hike includes a random prize drawing, but you must be present to win.

The other events are self-reported as “prove you move” entries. Simply snap a pic of your walk, cycle, hike or run and send it in to Asante Health Promotion to enter the prize drawings. The activity must equal at least a 5k distance (about 3 miles) to qualify.

How to join

Those who want to participate in the group hikes needs to register before Nov. 10 by emailing Health Promotion. All the “prove you move” self-reported activities emailed to Health Promotion will go into a random quarterly drawing for a $100 Tango gift card. One winner per campus (AACH, ARRMC, ATRMC) will be announced each quarter. The more entries you submit, the better your chances of winning in 2022!
