As you may know, there are several banks who post direct deposits to accounts in advance of Asante’s published check dates. Asante does not have control over these posting times and sends its payroll file with a Friday check date.
Due to the New Year holiday, the payroll for the week of Jan. 1 will be processed later than usual. This means employees accustomed to seeing their deposits as early as Wednesday should expect them between Thursday, Jan. 4 and Friday, Jan. 5, the official pay date.
