Asante adds vehicle charging stations in Medford

Now you can charge your electric vehicle on campus at one of five new stations.

EV-chargeAsante has recently activated five electrical vehicle charging stations in Medford, allowing employees to power-up close to work.

Two EVCs are located at the Heimann Cancer Center’s upper parking lot and three on the first floor of ARRMC’s newer Parking Garage 1.

The charging stations have two ports each, allowing a total of 10 vehicles to be charged at a time. The stations are available for public use, so employees are asked to move their vehicles immediately after charging to allow others to access the stations.

The EVCs are managed under an operating agreement with ChargePoint at a rate of 46 cents-per KWh. To get information on setting up a ChargePoint app and using these EVCs, visit ChargePoint’s FAQs.

The ChargePoint app streamlines the charging process and can send you notification alerts as to the station’s availability.
