Asante providers, employees medical staff are invited to attend Oncology Grand Rounds. This hour-long CME event takes place at:

Noon on Thursday, April 13
Mary and Dick Heimann Cancer Center
3011 E. Barnett Road, Medford

No registration is required, but space is limited.

Guest speaker is Richard T. Maziarz, MD, professor of medicine, OHSU School of Medicine. Dr. Maziarz will present on “The Rapidly Evolving Field of Clinical Cellular Immunology: CAR T-cell Therapy and Beyond.”

Dr. Maziarz has been involved in clinical investigation and translational research, for over three decades, beginning with research and clinical training at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Brigham & Women’s Hospital and continuing at OHSU, where he developed a transplantation immunology program. He has served as the medical director of the adult OHSU stem cell transplant program since 1994.

He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, served his residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland and completed fellowship training in immunology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
