Doctors’ Day on March 30 is an annual observance aimed at appreciating physicians who help save lives everywhere. Historically, APP has celebrated only physicians on this day. Now, to be more inclusive to all medical providers, we are celebrating Providers’ Day.
This year, clinic and unit leaders were given an opportunity to celebrate their providers in their own special way. Many coordinated a Harry & David gift basket for their providers. Others got creative with fun and custom gifts.
One leader bought a microwave for the team’s breakroom and stocked up on some snacks. Another purchased a copy of their favorite personal development book for each provider on their team.
Regardless of the ways chosen to celebrate our providers, we hope they know how much they mean to us always and not only during national observances.
Providers, you do not need a stethoscope to hear the appreciation Asante and our community have for you in our hearts. Hopefully the expressions of honor and gratitude you receive are as meaningful as the contributions, commitment and care you provide.
