Which five employees have earned Asante’s highest honor?

Update: Justin Briggs, emergency services tech at ATRMC, recently left Asante. The Annual VIA committee has voted to give the award to Josh Ficek, senior Epic Analyst with ITS Informatics and APP Services.

For the first time since 2019, the Annual Values in Action Award ceremony will take place in person on the ARRMC campus in November. Once again, Asante recognizes the employees who have stood out for their extraordinary contributions to living Asante’s Values.

The winners of the annual award — Asante’s highest honor — are chosen from across the system for their spirit of excellence, respect, honesty, service and teamwork.

This year, the five winners of the Annual VIA Award are:

• Josh Ficek, Epic analyst, ITS Informatics.
• Spencer Hill, supervisor, ITS Biomedical Engineering.
• Jessica Lindstrom, ARRMC Inpatient Rehab nurse, who will be honored posthumously.
• Kelly Williams, supervisor, HR Talent Acquisition.
• Birgit Yorek, imaging services aide, ATRMC Radiology.

Each recipient will be honored individually in an invitation-only ceremony on Nov. 7 at ARRMC. The five winners will be accompanied by their manager, co-workers, friends and family members along with the Asante executive team. The family of Jessica Lindstrom, who died tragically this past summer, will be there to accept the award for her.

Asante Chief Administrative Officer Win Howard will emcee the event and executives will be on hand to congratulate the honored employees.

Each winner will receive a special engraved award, which has been redesigned for 2023, along with other goodies.

Winners are nominated by their peers and then selected by Asante’s VIA committee, which is made up of representatives each from ARRMC, ATRMC, AACH and APP.
