Plan now for end-of-the-year tuition reimbursement

You’ll need to submit your requests for tuition and CME reimbursement by Dec. 13.

If you’re participating in Asante’s tuition reimbursement program or Continuing Medical Education through Asante, make sure to submit all related documents by Dec. 13 so that reimbursements can be included in your final paycheck of the year on Dec. 22. These documents may include grades, statements and other required items showing class charges, payments and balances.

You can access reimbursement request forms online. Reimbursements are paid out on your paycheck as a nontaxable item. You can access the tuition reimbursement policy and procedure on myAsanteNET, and find more information on myHR by clicking on the “Employee Support & Resources” link in the HR widget on the main page of myHR.

For tuition reimbursement, remember that you must submit your request at least 10 days before the start of class for preapproval. Submit documentation (receipts and grades) within 30 days of the completion of the classes.

Education and training that is eligible for the tuition reimbursement program includes tuition for classes, expenses for certifications or re-certifications not required for your job, and exam prep courses. Education and training that is not eligible for tuition reimbursement, such as exam fees, BLS, etc., can be requested via other methods.
