Employee webinar: “Mythbusting COVID-19 Vaccines”
How exactly do the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines work? Are they safe? Can you get COVID from the vaccine? Does the fast track to development pose risks?
Kirsten Schutte, MD, an infectious disease physician and medical director of Asante Infection Prevention, takes a deep dive into the science behind the vaccine and answers your questions about safety and efficacy live in a webinar scheduled next week.
Dr. Schutte addresses common concerns about the vaccine, what it means for people with allergies, whether it’s safe for pregnant women and what happens after the majority of the population is vaccinated.
The webinar is offered at 8 a.m. on Monday. Please be prepared to ask questions via the chat function. Dr. Schutte will try to answer them. There is no need to turn on your camera.
If you can’t attend one of the live webinars, feel free to submit questions in advance and Dr. Schutte will answer them during the Q&A. Send questions to

A recording of the webinar and Dr. Schutte’s PowerPoint will be posted online on Monday.
