Asante encourages the public to Move to Wellness
A new social media campaign urges people to get moving to improve physical and mental wellbeing.
“Move to Wellness” hopes to inspire Asante’s social media followers to include more physical activity — whether it’s walking, dancing or roller skating — into their daily routine.
Throughout the summer, the Asante Facebook page and To Your Health blog offer wellness articles explaining the significance of physical movement and the risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle. Users are also uploading photos daily, so make sure to check out the Facebook page.
Those who engage with the site — whatever their ability or fitness level — are encouraged to share their own movement stories. Participants will be entered into a prize drawing each month, June through August. See the contest rules.
