APP’s Black Oak family medicine clinic to move Jan. 15
APP–Family Medicine on Black Oak Drive will relocate to East Barnett Road next month in preparation for a new Asante immediate care clinic that will open in the Black Oak space in March.
The primary care clinic’s new location is at 2828 E. Barnett Road, across from Asante Rogue Regional. It’s the former site of Hematology Oncology Associates, now practicing out of Heimann Cancer Center.
Nine providers plus clinic staff will make the move on Jan. 15. They are Brent Burket, MD; Mirela Cvijanovic, MD; Rachel Dunn, FNP-C; Carl Griesser, MD; Sue Hagar, MD; Bryan Kim, MD; Bobbie Smith-Ede, FNP-C; Jill Steinsiek, MD and Adrian Sue, MD.
The clinic will keep the (541) 789-8000 phone number and will still offer same-day appointments to Asante patients.
The Asante Rogue Regional Immediate Care clinic will occupy the ground floor at 555 Black Oak Drive, which used to house urgent care. It is set to open on March 15. Like its counterpart in Grants Pass, the walk-in clinic is an outpatient department of the hospital and will treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for patients 3 months or older.
Immediate care staff will treat such conditions as respiratory ailments including COVID-19 and influenza, sore throat, earache, urinary symptoms and more. Patients with more severe illness or injury will be transferred to the Emergency Department and will not be billed for an Asante Immediate Care visit.
