The vaccine for children is administered as a two-dose series, three weeks apart. It’s a lower dose (10 micrograms) than what is used for people 12 years of age and older (30 micrograms). Pediatric vaccinations are available for Asante and non-Asante patients.

The vaccine’s safety was studied in approximately 3,100 children and no serious side effects have been detected in the ongoing study. If you have questions about the vaccine for children, contact your pediatrician or call the APP clinic directly.
