The annual Employee Voice Survey has arrived! So far, about half of Asante employees have completed their survey, which is due Aug. 21.
This year is a full survey, which means it drills down to the department and manager level. You’ll receive an email from Press Ganey with a unique survey link that is accessible anytime from home or work. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and includes two open-ended questions that allow you to share your opinions in more detail. (Remote workers get three open-ended questions.)
You’ll be asked how you feel about Asante as a whole, your department, your supervisor, your work team, communication and more.
Responses are tallied by Press Ganey so your answers are confidential. Because comments are transcribed word-for-word, however, avoid details that might identify you.
The survey is open to all employees who were hired on or before June 30, except volunteers, students and contractors. You will have a chance to review your department results when the reports are finalized later this year.
When taking the survey, keep in mind the following definitions:
- Confidential: Responses are anonymous and no one at Asante will ever see your individual answers.
- Organization: The entity in which you work.
- Work unit: The group you work with regularly (typically reports to the same manager).
- The person I report to: Your direct supervisor; the person who conducts your performance evaluation.
Responses are collected for system entities and leaders with at least five direct reports at each hospital, APP, Asante corporate departments and Asante Foundation.
Employee feedback from past surveys brought real results, so please respond no later than 11:59 p.m., Aug. 21! Questions? Contact your manager or your department’s survey champion.

How long does the survey take to complete?
About 15 minutes. You can take the survey any time between Aug. 1–21. If you’re interrupted, click “save” and you’ll be able to continue where you left off.
Why should I take the survey?
It is the most effective way to tell management what is working well and what needs to be improved, not just for the system but for your department and your team.
How will I know my responses are confidential?
Press Ganey emails a survey link that is unique to you. Your response is anonymous and your identity is not shared with anyone at Asante.
What will be done with survey feedback?
The feedback serves as a guide for action plans developed by departments. Results will be shared with all employees when the reports are finalized later this fall.
