If you’re enrolled in Asante vision coverage, you can search for providers through VSP Vision at vsp.com or by calling (800) 877-7195. Your ID number with VSP Vision is your employee number with four zeros in front.
You and your dependents covered on the vision coverage can also get nonprescription, ready-made sunglasses or nonprescription blue-light-filtering glasses instead of prescription glasses or contacts.
Did you know that you can earn contributions to your HealthEquity account if you or your covered spouse have a preventive vision exam? The value of the incentive will vary based on which plan you are on.
Individuals on the Asante PPO Health Plan will earn a $50 contribution; those on the Asante Savings Health Plan or the Asante Reimbursement Health Plan will receive a $125 contribution. There’s no need to provide documentation — the claims are automatically flagged for the incentive, and the employer contribution will show in your HealthEquity account in four to six weeks.
