One simple act can protect ourselves and our patients

As we continue to navigate the course of the pandemic, I am thankful every day for the care you provide to our community. While this stage of the pandemic has brought more challenges than we could have imagined, we are grateful to be emerging from the deluge.
As you are aware, getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourselves, your co-workers and your patients from COVID-19. Asante’s employee vaccination rate is current at 85% (and 92% within APP).
As a system, Asante has dedicated itself to providing world-class patient safety and quality. Vaccinating our employees is one way we can keep our patients safe. In fact, there is nothing that compares with this simple act to prevent the spread of the virus.
If you have not yet been vaccinated, I encourage you to discuss your questions or hesitations with one of our APP providers. We have more than 20 providers in both counties who have agreed to talk privately with employees who have questions about the vaccines.
