For employees who spend their days on their feet instead of at a desk, Asante Communications and Marketing is introducing Asante News Break. It’s a one-page summary of the week’s news that will be posted in break rooms and employee-only areas on Asante campuses every Friday.

The interactive printout contains QR codes that allow readers to access full-length stories, surveys and downloadable graphics from their mobile devices.

“Communication and employee engagement are vital to the health of our organization,” said Kimberly Schauer, director of Communications and Marketing. “A printed news summary helps staff members who do not regularly access their Asante email stay informed of important system news.”

Asante News Break is a companion to the digital Asante News, which is sent to employee email inboxes every Tuesday, and the daily news site, Asante News Online. The news site was launched in 2020 to provide employees immediate access to information related to their work, our system and the broader community. Since then, Asante News Online has gained 4,771 subscribers.
