ATRMC boasts one year of over 90% hand-hygiene adherence

To mark the occasion, hospital and system leaders threw a snackfest.

We all know that performing hand hygiene is one of the best ways to prevent spread of infection to our patients, staff and community. Asante has been on a mission to improve our hand hygiene compliance rates.

The system overall made a strong, steady comeback from the low of 78% compliance toward the end of the pandemic, to achieving and maintaining the target of 90% for the past four months.

ATRMC staff have achieved above the target every month for over a year! To celebrate this achievement, executives from Nursing, Infection Prevention, Risk Management and Operations came to campus and delivered delicious treats prepared by our amazing Nutrition Services team.
