The Employee Engagement Survey arrives

The annual Employee Engagement Survey arrived in mailboxes on July 12.

This year is a full survey, which means it drills down to the department and supervisor level. With 68 questions, it includes content from the Culture of Safety and Compliance surveys. By combining the three systemwide surveys, Asante leaders hope to gain some efficiencies, reduce “survey fatigue” and get greater detail on safety and compliance matters.

Employees received a unique survey link from Press Ganey that is accessible anytime from home or work. Once again, participation is part of the PEAK incentive program. If 80% of Asante employees take the survey, every eligible full-time employee stands to take home $200 — double last year’s award. (Asante must have an operating margin result of at least 2% for a PEAK payout in the fall.)

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and includes two open-ended questions that allow employees to share their opinions in more detail.

Employees are asked how they feel about Asante, their department, their supervisor, their teams, communication and more.

Responses will be tallied by Press Ganey so your answers are confidential. Because comments are transcribed word-for-word, however, avoid details that might identify you.

The survey is open to all employees who were hired on or before May 12, except APP providers, who take a different survey. Volunteers, students and contractors also are excluded. You will have a chance to review your department results when the reports are finalized later this year.

Employees who do not respond to the first email will receive reminders. The survey closes at 11:59 p.m., Aug. 2.
