  • As nurses we need to access policies and procedures a lot. It is really difficult to pull them up in the search. Will there be an easier way to access policies in the future? It is not just me; all the nurses are constantly searching to find certain policies and we spend a lot of time looking.

    Good morning,
My name is Lori Richardson, I am the Quality Management Analyst for Accreditation and I manage all of the policy & procedures that are posted on the Policy & Procedures Application.

I wanted to provide some quick tips and also provide my direct email address if anyone would like to contact me directly for assistance. lo*************@as****.org

Tip #1- Go directly into the Asante Policies & Procedures Application. By doing this you are filtering down the search directly to Policies and Patient Care Documents within the application.

Tip #2- I would like to point out from the Asante Policies & Procedures Application homepage, from the righthand side of the screen, are three HELPFUL links.
    A. You can find our Policies and Patient Care Documents Overview which was created to educate and provide guidance (step-by-step instructions) to ALL end users on how to best utilize and search on the policies and procedures application. https://myasantenet.ahs.asante.org/app/files/secure/PnP-Overview-Revisions-2.pdf.
    B. ALL end users can submit an email request to our Asante Accreditation Quality Management Analyst requesting to add keyword(s) or phrases to a specific policy, procedure, or patient care document. mailto:po*********@as****.org" data-original-string="Bfvo9u9QKY0ALCevQcnJKak7EGJGuv9aLG48h9Ghn6A=" title="This contact has been encoded by Anti-Spam by CleanTalk. C. If you simply need help, have a comment, or question regarding our Asante Policies and Procedures application, you can send an email directly to our Asante Policies & Procedures System Admin at mailto:po*********@as****.org" data-original-string="Bfvo9u9QKY0ALCevQcnJKak7EGJGuv9aLG48h9Ghn6A=" title="This contact has been encoded by Anti-Spam by CleanTalk. Tip #3- The myAsanteNET System Administrator and myself conduct education for all departments. If you are interested in receiving education on the myAsanteNET website and Policy & Procedures Application during one of your scheduled department staff meetings, please contact lo*************@as****.org for availability.

For more information please feel free to contact Lori Richardson at lo*************@as****.org.
