Goodbye numbers, hello personalized wellness
Asante employees and spouses will have a different way to earn health incentives in 2022. Know Your Numbers is being replaced by a new initiative — the Asante Healthy Living Incentive Program — which allows you to earn dollars toward your health expenses.
No annual biometric screening is needed. Instead, employees may complete a Personalized Wellness Plan with an Asante health coach anytime during 2022 and earn up to $400 to be deposited into their health savings account (and up to an additional $250 for enrolled spouses).
Unlike Know Your Numbers, this incentive does not offset health premiums. Instead it can be spent on any eligible health expense, such as office visit co-pays, pharmacy, lab services and more. In addition, it is distributed as a lump sum instead of as a semimonthly payroll credit. The amount of the annual incentive, however, is similar to the credit given in Know Your Numbers.
“This program offers greater opportunities for employees to develop lifestyle habits that promote health and well-being,” said Robert Begg, vice president of Human Resources. “One-on-one coaching helps educate and motivate participants in a fun and supportive way.”
The Personalized Wellness Plan involves an initial 15-minute phone visit with an Asante health coach. The visit can be scheduled through MyChart and you may choose which coach you’d like to work with.
Managed by Asante Health Promotion, the program can involve just that single visit or up to eight sessions a year if you choose. Coaches can also help guide you to other resources and incentives Asante offers.
The Asante Healthy Living Incentive Program involves a range of rewards employees and their spouses can earn. Besides the Personalized Wellness Plan, those who complete an age-appropriate preventive exam and an interactive program through Regence Empower can earn additional contributions.

It’s a way to earn dollars toward your HealthEquity accounts (health reimbursement or health savings account) by completing activities that promote health and well-being. This replaces Know Your Numbers, which has been discontinued.
It’s different in two ways:
- Instead of getting a biometric screening exam, participants will schedule a 15-minute phone visit with an Asante health coach and complete an online health assessment to develop a personalized wellness plan.
- When the visit is completed, the financial award goes into your HSA or HRA account with HealthEquity instead of as a semimonthly premium credit in your paycheck.
No. The overall award for the Healthy Living Incentive Program is similar to what was earned for Know Your Numbers. You’re just receiving it as a health savings or health reimbursement contribution instead of as a premium credit.

All employees and spouses enrolled in an Asante Health Plan option have some sort of health account. Those enrolled in the Asante Savings Health Plan have a health savings account, or HSA. Those enrolled in the Asante PPO Health Plan or Asante Reimbursement Health Plan have a health reimbursement account, or HRA.
No. Although the plan is intended to improve health, enhance well-being and prevent chronic conditions, the incentive is awarded after the initial 15-minute appointment with a health coach.
You may schedule your Personalized Wellness Plan visit and complete the Healthy Lifestyle Assessment after Jan. 1, 2022.
- Log in to your Asante MyChart account.
- Select Visits > Schedule an appointment > Tell us why you’re coming in > Personalized Wellness Plan.
- Select a provider (coach) and choose an appointment time.
- At the prompt, complete the two-minute Healthy Lifestyle Assessment. This should be done before your appointment.
On the day of your phone visit you’ll need to check in in advance through MyChart.
It can take six to eight weeks to see the awards in your HSA or HRA with HealthEquity.
