Early direct-deposit affected by holiday

Employees will still be paid on time, but early deposits may be delayed.

As you may know, there are several banks who post direct deposits to accounts in advance of Asante’s published check dates. Asante does not have control over these posting times and sends its payroll file with a Friday check date.

Next week, payroll will be processed later than normal to accommodate the July 4 holiday and ensure the most accurate payroll possible. Employees who have seen deposits in their accounts as early as Wednesday may not see any early bank posting until Thursday, July 6 or at latest Friday, July 7, Asante’s scheduled pay date.

Pay statements will be published the evening of July 6.

“We just wanted to make sure those who are used to seeing early deposits are aware and can plan accordingly,” said Christy Nikola, Asante payroll manager.

  • Certainly has been nice seeing pay day hit “2 days early” at Wells Fargo. Although I know that’s subject to change at any time but it is appreciated by whomever makes that magic happen!
