Call for volunteers: Ashland July 4th celebration
Join in the fun and represent Asante Ashland Community Hospital in the Ashland 4th of July Community Celebration. You don’t have to work at the hospital to be part of the parade and celebration in Lithia Park.
AACH has a long tradition of sharing a message of caring. It’s doing it again this year with a reminder that the hospital is here for its community — from birth to Age-Friendly care.
The planning team needs help from staff, family and friends to make it happen. Parade participants will ride in decorated vehicles or walk while carrying signs and handing out goodies. There will be music and two floats carrying a birthing tub, rocking chairs and anyone who prefers to ride and wave.
Organizers need parade walkers of all ages with strollers, wagons, bicycles, wheelchairs and even therapy pets. You may dress in any type of Asante wear, including shirts, vests and hats. Or you can wear scrubs, caps, lab coats or breast cancer awareness T-shirts.
Signs will be provided to promote AACH’s various services and to remind the community of the hospital’s philosophy of caring.
