AllCare Independent Physicians Association, a division of AllCare Health, has joined Asante Health Network effective Aug. 1.
The provider group brings into the network nearly 150 primary care and specialty providers from 59 practices, mostly in Josephine County. This is the largest single enrollment in AHN’s nine-year history.
The move offers substantial cost savings to employees because AllCare IPA services are now part of Asante Health Plan’s Preferred Network, or Category 1, which offers the lowest out-of-pocket costs. For instance, co-pays for an office visit in the preferred network are $10 or 10% (after the annual deductible is met), depending on the plan, compared with co-pays of up to $75 for providers who are not in Category 1. In addition, employees now have greater access to primary care and sought-after specialties such as dermatology, ophthalmology, behavioral health counselors, and marriage and family therapists.

AllCare IPA, a division of AllCare Health, includes 37 specialty and 22 primary care groups. By joining AHN, these groups can refer their patients to AHN specialists, including those in endocrinology and neurology.

As a reminder, employees and their dependents enrolled in the Asante Health Plan get expedited access to a new primary care provider or for same-day primary care by calling the New Patient Access line at (541) 789-1234. The phone line’s hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
