Asante represents in national, local awards
Leaders and staff from Asante Physician Partners are making an impression for their national and regional contributions.
PRC, the national firm that conducts patient experience surveys, honored health care leaders for excellence across a spectrum of measures, including excellence and patient experience.
At a virtual summit held this fall, Asante leaders took home four awards:
- Healthcare Innovation: Cassy Leach, director of Ambulatory Quality and Operations, APP
- Patient Experience: John Ordal, MD, pulmonologist, APP–Pulmonary Consultants
- Patient Safety: Win Howard, CEO, Asante Three Rivers Medical Center
- Physician Partnership: Sue Hagar, MD, division medical for primary care, APP
The summit also featured presentations by APP leaders and staff: Howard spoke about patient experience; and Doug Ward, Bruce Budmayr and Shea Quinn presented on increasing access to care.
Locally, the Southern Oregon chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals honored Jared Hill as the “Business Leader who Gets It” at its annual state conference recently.
The award recognizes business leaders in the state and specifically in Southern Oregon who partner with employers in their community to promote and drive health and safety in the workplace.
Hill is APP’s director of Alternative Access and still practices as an occupational therapist. He was recognized for his regional expertise in working with local businesses on employee safety.
