Asante gives back to the Red Cross

Community lives here. To support the American Red Cross — and the blood supplies that help our patients and those at other local hospitals — Asante donated $15,000, which will go toward the purchase of a new blood delivery van.

“The Red Cross supplies blood to 60 hospitals in the Pacific Northwest, and we also manage 40% of the nation’s blood supply,” said Carissa Hettich, executive director of the Red Cross’s southwest Oregon chapter. “Having a reliable transit van helps us meet the needs of patients.”
