ARRMC named one of the world’s best hospitals
The 2022 rankings examined patient safety, patient experience and recommendations from peers for hospitals in 27 countries.
Asante Rogue Regional has earned a spot on the World’s Best Hospitals 2022, a ranking compiled by Newsweek and Statistica, a global market research and data firm. The list recognizes hospitals based on three measures:
- Hospital recommendations from peers. These are collected through an international online survey sent to more than 80,000 doctors, hospital leaders and health care professionals.
- Patient experience. Based on scores collected through surveys, such as HCAHPs in the United States.
- Medical key performance indicators, or KPIs. These include metrics on patient safety, hygiene and quality of care.
“The title World’s Best Hospitals 2022 serves to reinforce your reputation as a hospital as both respected among your peers and valued by patients,” said Nancy Cooper, Newsweek’s global editor-in-chief.
The ranking, now in its fourth year, examined medical institutions in 27 countries, including the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel and others. Mayo Clinic topped the international list, followed by Cleveland Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital. Oregon hospitals that made the list appear in the March 9 print edition of Newsweek. The online edition features only the top 250 hospitals worldwide.
ARRMC was also named a 100 Top Hospital by Fortune/IBM Watson Health eight times and among the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals.

The Newsweek online list only features the top 250. Asante placed somewhere below that and appears in the print edition.
