In a year in which challenges came more often than calm, we welcome the chance to highlight the good. At Asante, that comes every year with the annual Values in Action award given to five empoyees who exemplify the spirit of excellence, respect, honesty, service and teamwork.
This year, the winners of Asante’s highest honor are all women, representing clinical, lab, outpatient services.
They are:
- Zoe Abel, RN, AACH Intensive Care Unit
- Jini Danis, director, ARRMC Laboratory
- Megan Frost, physician, General Surgery–Grants Pass
- Amalia Kieley, director of Nursing, AACH Nursing Administration
- Kristi Lambert, nurse navigator, ARRMC Utilization Management
Each recipient will be honored individually in a live WebEx “virtual celebration” at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The five winners will be accompanied by their manager and up to 10 co-workers, friends and family members along with the Asante executive team.
Instead of the usual luncheon, winners will receive a special delivery of their award and other goodies.
Winners are nominated by their peers and then selected by Asante’s VIA committee, which is made up of representatives each from ARRMC, ATRMC, AACH, APP and the Contact Center.
Look for profiles of each of the 2020 VIA winners in Asante News throughout November and December.
If you have a question, please contact the author or relevant department directly.
