Retirement increase may come in Friday’s check
If you chose to automatically bump up your retirement contributions every October, you’ll see the effect on Nov. 13
If you elected to automatically increase your retirement contribution every October you’ll see the effect on your Nov. 13 paycheck. Many employees choose October to boost their retirement contributions because that’s typically when merit increases are given. This year, however, the merit increase is delayed until January, so the change may be more noticeable than in past years.
The good news is that all eligible employees will also see their PEAK bonus on Friday’s check. The bonus includes an extra $150 in recognition of employees’ work on COVID-19 and the wildfire response.
You can choose any month to automatically increase your annual retirement contributions through the Fidelity website.
