C. diff isolation rules go back to normal

Temporary changes implemented at the height of COVID are halted.

Share:

During the height of COVID-19 pandemic, temporary changes in isolation requirement for Clostridioides difficile patients were implemented to conserve critical PPE.

As COVID-19 hospitalizations continue to remain low and PPE supplies remain strong, this temporary change has been suspended and we’re returning to prior isolation requirements. Patients with a positive test result should remain in enteric precautions during their current admission.
