More people than ever are home, cooking meals. It’s easy to get stuck in a rut and burned out on overplayed recipes. Even Aunt Francesca would understand how we can’t handle one more serving of her classic lasagna. Here’s a way to stay home and stay safe, sane and eating healthy!
Asante Health Promotion, in collaboration with registered dietitians in Asante Nutrition Services and ITS, have gathered a variety of beWell healthy recipes and posted them on myAsanteNET. Choose from categories such as appetizers, breads and muffins, breakfast, condiments and sauces, dinners, lunches, salads, sides, smoothies, snacks and soups. Yes, even desserts.
They say variety is the spice of life. So, go spice it up!
If you have healthy recipes to add, please email Asante Health Promotion. They need to meet heart-healthy guidelines with lean proteins, whole grains, reduced-sodium ingredients when possible, fruits and veggies and low-fat dairy sources. Also, the recipe must include a complete list of ingredients, step-by-step directions, nutrition facts and serving sizes.
