This staff training will help bend the cost curve

APP is adapting and reviewing our business strategies to meet the needs of our patients, keep our staff safe and make sure we are financially stable. Key aspects to ensure financial stability are insurance verification and co-pay collections. Our PSRs, referral coordinators and MAs are critical to these efforts. To support them and their valuable work, we’ve created a front-end revenue cycle training program.

The training platform builds upon existing knowledge and skills around registration, scheduling and check-in. This platform will provide consistent training and was carefully developed to ensure the material is relevant and up to date. It is our goal to support and provide our staff with the training they need to deliver exceptional and consistent customer service.

Learning modules will be assigned in ALEC for applicable staff. There will be a total of three sessions, each consisting of multiple modules that will need to be completed by the end of the two-week training period. These modules are comprehensive and take approximately five hours to complete. Staff should work with their leaders on their plan for completing their training.
