They came, they saw, they helped
Not rain, wind or cold winter weather got in the way of Asante employees giving back to the community. The Asante Community Team Spirit of Service recognition program closed its second quarter for fiscal year 2021 with 44 participants volunteering more than 1,500 hours.
The following employees were selected at random to receive 12,500 points from PointRecognition.com:
- Barbara McClung, Human Resources
- Jenny Newman, Patient Access, Financial Clearance
- Robby Pratt, ITS
- Meg Selby, Laboratory Services
- Su Salena, Medical Oncology
The winner of the random “new participant” category (12,500 points) was Brian Neyt, ARRMC Cath Lab.
Volunteer service qualifies for the program if it’s done for a local school, church, city council, police or fire department, ambulance service or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency within Asante’s service area.
