Aug. 16-20: The Oregon Wine Experience
The August event has openings for a variety of volunteer positions.
Oregon Wine Experience returns Aug. 16–20, and Asante Foundation needs volunteers. Choose from several positions, including serving food and drinks, helping at the registration desk or operating game tables.
Employees who volunteer are eligible to submit their hours to Asante’s Spirit of Service program. The five-day event takes place at Stage Pass near Jacksonville. Last year’s OWE raised $2.2 million for children’s health care through sponsorships, donations, wineries and culinary partners. More than 100 wineries from around the state participated.
Each year, it takes more than 200 volunteers in over 300 positions to make the main events possible. All volunteers will be expected to attend general orientation on Monday, Aug. 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the event site, 4735 S. Stage Road, Medford.
