Take charge: Asante Health Network

Asante has partnered with local primary care and specialists to broaden in-network coverage for Asante health plans.

In past several weeks, we’ve talked about how choosing a particular provider category can affect what you pay for coverage. As a general rule, if you choose Asante providers and facilities, you’ll save the most in your out-of-pocket expenses, since copays and coinsurances are generally less at those providers.

Asante has also partnered with local non-Asante providers to form the Asante Health Network (formerly known as the Health Alliance of Southern Oregon). As a clinically integrated network, AHN supports regional health care and works to improve quality, efficiency and patient satisfaction among providers in Southern Oregon.

Health care services performed by the more than 700 providers within AHN will be at the same rates as Asante physicians and other providers. These include specialists in dermatology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, radiology and more.

You can find more information on the Asante Health Plan options on myHR or Asante.org. If you have any questions, please contact Regence at (888) 344-8235. You can email the Asante Benefits department or call (541) 789-4551. You can also submit a case in the Ask HR section of myHR.
