Spirit of Service: These employees stepped up
In tough economic times it can be easy to focus on our own lives. But in Asante’s Spirit of Service, 35 employees gave back to their communities this past quarter, putting in nearly 1,200 hours of volunteer services.
Six employees were chosen at random to receive 12,500 points from PointRecognition.com:
- Emma Cornejo, ARRMC Inpatient Rehab
- Karen Dumont, HR Employee and Labor Relations
- Heather Hartman, Risk Management
- Mark Sandys, ATRMC ICU
- Mark Stegall, Risk Management
Jennifer Hepler of Asante Foundation won the new-participant drawing.
Volunteer service qualifies for the program if it’s done for a local school, church, city council, police or fire department, ambulance service
or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency within Asante’s service area.
Asante thanks the winners and all the other participants who volunteered this past quarter:
Paula Young, Amy Munoz, Anja Rink, Janelle Lane, Trista Ungaro, Chuck Price, Augusta Keen, Meredith Krauss, Robby Pratt, Jennifer Lisac, Russell Hearing, Ana Lim, Robin Stoller, Barbara McClung, Janelle Lane, Syl Zucker, Suzanne Megetarian, Jimmie Lyn Mitchell, April Rosenthal, Deetta Hernandez, Keri Baker, Charles Starling, Chase Lane, Jennifer Lewellyn and Jessica Larson.
