Snow didn’t dampen these volunteers

Twenty-one employees donated more than 760 hours of service to the community this past quarter.

The Rogue Valley got blanketed with snow at the end of the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022, but once again Asante employees rose to the challenge of helping their community no matter the weather.

Nearly two dozen employees volunteered over 760 hours in Asante’s Spirit of Service program between October and December, 2021.

The following employees were selected at random to receive 12,500 points from PointRecognition.com:Spirit of Service

  • Russ Hearing, ARRMC chaplain
  • Christine Rich, ITS Project Services
  • Megan Droesch, ARRMC Obstetrics
  • Eliza Kauder, AACH Facilities
  • Augusta Keen, AOC PACU

Volunteer service qualifies for the program if it’s done for a local school, church, city council, police or fire department, ambulance service or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency within Asante’s service area.
