Sept. 15: “Updates in GI Surgical Oncology”
The first of quarterly grand rounds features presentations by surgical oncologists from OHSU.
Asante providers and medical staff are invited to attend the first Asante Oncology Grand Rounds quarterly lecture. Drs. Flavio Rocha and Skye Mayo from Oregon Health & Science University will present in this hour-long CME event, which takes place at noon on Thursday, Sept. 15.
The ground rounds will be held online and in person in the first-floor conference room at the Mary and Dick Heimann Cancer Center, 3011 E. Barnett Road in Medford.
Dr. Rocha is physician-in-chief of Knight Cancer Institute and associate professor of surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, School of Medicine. He specializes in oncology with a focus on neuroendocrine and pancreatic cancers.
Dr. Mayo is associate professor of surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, School of Medicine, and director of Hepatic Arterial Infusion for Advanced Liver Malignancies at the Knight Cancer Institute, School of Medicine.
