Oct. 13-27: “Community Health and You”
Health care concerns rise as we age, so Asante providers will offer their insight and expertise in a fall lecture series hosted by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, an educational and enrichment program for older adults on the Southern Oregon University campus.
The free public lecture series takes place online Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. Registration is required for each lecture. Register online or call (541) 552-6048 to receive your Zoom meeting link. You do not have to be an OLLI member to attend.
Oct. 27: “End-of-Life Planning”
Sue Hagar, MD, a family medicine physician and chair of Asante’s primary care division, will discuss end-of-life decision-making, including surrogate decision-makers, advance directives and Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment, or POLST, documents.
