If you had a health savings account in 2022, you will be receiving a tax form called a 1099-SA from HealthEquity, the company that administers HSAs for Asante. The form shows what was distributed from the account throughout the year.
The form will be provided to anybody who had distributions in 2022. It will be mailed and will also be available online.
To access it online, go to my.healthequity.com. Once logged in, click on the Tax Forms & Statements link in the Manage Account section on the right. Scroll down until you see the Form 1099-SA section, where you’ll find the 2022 form. You can also contact HealthEquity 24/7 at (866) 960-8055.
