Natasha Rutledge

Tasha Rutledge is currently serving as a regional designated medical professional (DMP) for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Jackson County. This position is very important in the work the organization does in the community and surrounding communities.

The DMP performs forensic medical assessments on children suspected to be child abuse victims within Jackson County. Additionally, the CAC medical team also provides child abuse medical consultations and trainings to community child abuse assessment programs and medical personnel throughout a six-county region that includes Lane, Douglas, Josephine, Curry, Coos and Jackson counties.

Rutledge is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in pediatric health care. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she has experience in primary care pediatrics,  emergency/trauma, health care administration, pediatric home care, nursing education and inpatient pediatric care.

Throughout her career, Rutledge has worked to promote the health and welfare of children with a diverse range of ethnic, social and economic backgrounds. She has had the privilege of assisting children and families in navigating a number of sensitive and traumatic life events, such as family disruptions, abuse, and neglect.
