Miracle Jeans Day breaks another record

Every year, Miracle Jeans Day gives employees the chance to donate directly to children’s health at Asante and celebrate the cause together by wearing jeans or sporting their MJD swag.

This year, more than 1,100 employees participated to raise a total of $180,300 — almost $40,000 more than last year — all of which will benefit local kids and families who rely on Asante

Employees who give say there is “absolutely no reason not to” because “all kids deserve a chance to experience life.” Parents and pediatricians know the importance of our Children’s Miracle Network program and for them, donating holds a special place in their heart.

Miles’ story also inspired many employees to give generously. Miles was an incredible boy, whose journey with cancer and Asante left an unforgettable mark on this community. His parents are so proud that his story continues to inspire all those who encounter it. The popular MJD swag item, Petunia the pig, reminds us all of the importance of giving back.
