ITS earns Epic mark of distinction

Asante’s ITS department has been honored with the Epic Community Connect Accreditation. Only 21 out of 400 health systems share this honor for extending Epic’s electronic health record to other health care facilities.

Currently, Asante provides Epic to Sky Lakes Medical Center and its provider offices, as well as seven local medical clinics.

This accreditation is achieved by meeting key performance metrics, staying current with Epic’s current software and providing a collaborative relationship with our community-connect sites.

This honor is a team effort shared by Asante’s Epic analysts, IT technical teams, integration teams and our community-connect coordinator, Jess Stone. Their focus and customer support have resulted in excellent patient care.
