Incentives help sweeten your HRA

Health plan options automatically provide you with a health reimbursement account.

Did you know that if you’re enrolled in the Asante PPO Health Plan or Asante Reimbursement Health Plan you automatically have a health reimbursement account?

While employees cannot contribute to this HRA, incentive rewards are deposited into your account when you complete activities in Asante’s Healthy Living Incentive Program.

Funds roll over from year to year as long as you stay employed with Asante as a regular full- or part-time employee, but they do not go with you if you leave employment or move to a flexible status, unless COBRA is used to continue medical coverage.

Funds can be used to reimburse yourself for eligible health care expenses for you and any eligible dependents covered on your Asante medical insurance.

The HRA is managed by HealthEquity. You can go online to my.healthequity.com to check your balance, review the transaction history, submit claims for reimbursement and more. You can also call HealthEquity 24/7 at (866) 960-8055.

    I wish our dental and vision claims would be automatically shown like the medical claims are. Some of us do not have an option to upload to their system

  • Is the rollover feature new? I thought that only the HSA funds roll over from year to year, but the HRA and FSA funds are ‘use-it-or-lose-it’ before the end of the year (although the deadline for submitting claims is some time in March of the following year).
