Employees rewarded for the Spirit of Service

Twenty-six employees spent a combined 752 hours volunteering in the community this past quarter.

Despite the persistent pandemic and the onset of cold winter weather, Asante employees still found time to give back to the community. The Asante Community Team Spirit of Service recognition program closed its first quarter for fiscal year 2021 with 26 participants volunteering nearly 752 hours.

The following employees were selected at random to receive 12,500 points from PointRecognition.com:Spirit of Service

  • Amy Dail, Decision Support
  • Anja Rink, Human Resources
  • Kimberly Little, Provider Patient Financial Services
  • Melissa Wills, ATRMC Resource Team
  • Syl Zucker, Hospice

The winner of the random “new participant” category (12,500 points) was Melissa Hennings, Guest Services.

Volunteer service qualifies for the program if it’s done for a local school, church, city council, police or fire department, ambulance service or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency within Asante’s service area.
