Employees make Asante a top employer, garnering national recognition

Forbes places Asante on its 2020 list of Best-in-State Employers in Oregon.

ForbesAsante has received a very inspiring award — it’s inspiring because our employees are the ones who made it happen.

Asante has been named one of America’s Best in State Employers by Forbes for 2020, ranking No. 11 out of 30 businesses that made the list in Oregon.

“Our employees are Asante’s most valued resource and the culture they create is the reason why Asante is a great place to work,” said Robert Begg, vice president of Human Resources. “For them to honor and uphold our organization in this way reflects the importance we place on caring for our Asante family.”

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to compile a list of organizations liked best by employees. They surveyed 80,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 workers from October 2019 to May 2020. The final list ranks 1,461 employers that received the greatest number of recommendations in each state.

“We could not be prouder to appear on this list. It’s a bright spot to focus on during such unsettling times,” Begg said. “I speak for all leaders at Asante when I say we are humbled by this recognition and will work hard to ensure we maintain and improve our culture to continue to receive such high marks from our teams.”

Survey participants were contacted anonymously through several online panels where employees could openly state their opinions and avoid any influence from their employer.

Employees were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employer to friends and family. The responses were analyzed on a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 means “I wouldn’t recommend my employer under any circumstances” and 10 means “I would definitely recommend my employer.”

They were also asked 24 questions about work related topics such as working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image.
